I've been wanting to see the pop-up version of Shakespeare's globe theatre for some time, so when we discovered that it would be in York during our trip, we made sure to go along. Beside the fantastic backdrop of Clifford's Tower, we saw a magnificent production of Hamlet. The acting was superb, our seats placed us practically on the stage, and in this wonderful setting and on a warm summer evening, the time flew by.
