Bearacleave is a beautiful woodland just a short drive from our home. Not many people go there, so it seems, and it's very peaceful. Lottie loves running around and following the scents of the local wildlife. Occasionally, we find a rope swing rigged up by some enterprising children, and our kids loved that when they were youngsters – I've even had a go myself although not in any dignified way I'm afraid.
At one end of the wood, visitors are treated to this view towards Dartmoor. The houses you can see nestling below are in the small town of Bovey Tracey. I hope you enjoy the photo which was taken just a few days ago in the September sunshine.
