Busy weekend, and away from the keyboard for a change.

I managed my second park run on Saturday, trailing behind Mrs C for a 5k run through the aptly named Parke estate. It's a lovely wood for a run, but by no means flat. I got round in roughly 40 mins, and I hope that I'll improve on that as I go. We followed it up with a swim in the outdoor pool, so I felt fighting fit.

The next day we took Lottie up to Tottiford reservoir. Lots of fascinating fungi coming up, and I soaked up lots of atmospheric detail for my upcoming mystery, which will involve a reservoir.

Later, I tended to our apple trees and I picked a crateful, but I'm not sure what we'll do with them yet. They don't keep, but I do love a good apple crumble.
