Hello everybody, I hope you're already having a good weekend.

I am trying to blog every weekday and include some podcasts and videos, but this evening my tech has let me down and I've run out of time.

So here's a brief update and a quick plea.

I'm getting on well with the Darkeningstone III. I'm almost up to 70,000 words so not long to go before I finish the prologue. Only kidding – I mean not long to go before I have to sit down and rewrite the whole thing.  I'm looking forward to it. I quite enjoy the rewrite process.  Meanwhile, Trespass (The Darkeningstone II) is heading off to the excellent Jason Whited for a thorough line edit.  I hope to relaunch Trespass in early November.  And yes, I do know that this is all the wrong way round, but it was my first book and I've learned a hell of a lot since then.

In other news, the first Darkeningstone Book, Breaking Ground is all set to become free.  And this is where the plea comes in.  If you can spare a minute to help me get my work out where it belongs, in front of readers, I'd be very grateful.

All you have to do to help me out and ensure that lots of readers get a free book, is to go to Breaking Ground on Amazon (this link should do the trick:

Breaking Ground (The Darkeningstone Book 0)

Scroll down to the Product Details, at the bottom of which you'll see a link like this: Tell us about a lower price.

Click on that link, select online and give them one of these urls where the book is free:

Barnes and Noble: http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/breaking-ground-mikey-campling/1120408600

Kobo: http://store.kobobooks.com/en-US/ebook/breaking-ground-the-darkeningstone-book-1

Smashwords: http://www.smashwords.com/books/view/479417

Please tell Amazon that the price and shipping are both 0, and then click on the submit button.

Of course, if you'd like to visit one of the above links, you can snag yourself a neat little novella – perfect for your thrilling, suspenseful weekend read.

If you do take the time to help me out, please accept my thanks in advance.  You are very cool indeed and I'm incredibly grateful for your help.

Thank you.
